To be fair, Prokofy might have been banned from the forums, but he still is one of SL's most-read blogger (at least judging from Google's hits on Prokofy), he posts on several other forums related to Second Life and virtual worlds, as well as making comments all through the Blogosphere. As a matter of fact, he has written much more since he was banned from the LL forums.

Besides blogging and forum participation, he regularly holds several in-world meetings on topics related to recent changes and bad business decisions by Linden Lab.

Rolled back change. Prokofy Neva is a male avatar. --Tateru 17:01, 20 Nov 2006 (EST)

The picture of Prokofy Neva is a wee bit out of date. The fact that Torley Linden banned him in late November 2006 from the official SL blog needs to be noted at some point--WoollyPatchouli 01:09, 16 Dec 2006 (EST)

Okay, this is ridiculously unsourced POV stuff. I've not gone over the whole lot yet but if people are going to state opinions on behalf of someone else, they should at least be backed up with links. I'm sure it's not too hard. I've removed the link to the SLUniverse pic because that is clearly just personal abuse. --OrdinalMalaprop 18:11, 2 Jan 2007 (EST)

  • As indicated I've removed unsourced references. I'm sure it will not be too hard to provide links for anything that needs to be re-added. --OrdinalMalaprop 17:40, 4 Jan 2007 (EST)

Avatar gender

Last note on this topic. The avatar, Prokofy Neva is male, yes, this was not always the case. However, I see no reason why his gender should be treated any differently to that of any other avatar, other than as a form of discourtesy. --Tateru 01:27, 3 Jan 2007 (EST)
