  1. Poser, a 3D figure design and animation application maintained by e-frontier. Poser is used by Linden Lab to create the default animations used in Second Life (the meshes are created in Maya). Poser is not required to create animations, any 3D animation program that exports to BVH can be used.
  2. Poser is also someone who poses as something or someone they are not.
