Plum

Plum has always been a Linden-owned sim, part of the northern Welcome Area. Some events have been held in Plum and Lime, however. Burning Halloween, Lynn Lippmann's Fool Moon flea markets, and the first Second Life Anniversary exhibit featuring the contents of the time capsule. Plum hosts a Sandbox and a spare Welcome Area. The Lime/Plum Welcome Area is rarely used, and only as a backup for special occasions (e.g. when Ahern is botched or a large influx of users enter).

Plum also hosts the Appreciation of the Beta Users Memorial, made up of three walls displaying the names of beta residents.
