Ouranos was founded by Adam Zaius sometime in 2004. The group's objective was to unite talented creators in Second Life to work on collaborative projects. Ouranos's first major undertaking was an underwater compound in Atlas beneath its large lake. Appearing as a high-tech corporate sealab; the building spanned much of the lake bottom and featured many gadgets and intricate builds. The Atlas compound became a popular attraction, often being listed within the top five of Popular Places (based on dwell), and was also frequented by Lindens.
After some time the Atlas project came to and end and Ouranos moved on to its own private sim. The sim dubbed Aleph is currently home to the innovative vision and "dastardly" plans of the group.
Ouranos remains a close group of friends who also happen to be talented at different aspects of creation within SL.
