Luca Grabacr, also known simply as Luca, is a Second Life Machinima artist, mesh creator and founder of the Virtual Existance Society.

Background[]

A staunch promoter and advocate for Second Life and its' growth, Luca began making content for Second Life following their previous activities in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas' Multiplayer community. Initially creating Second Life-related content, Luca would reach popularity with their video on Second Life, 'Just How Big is Second Life? - The Answer Might Surprise You' - which is to date, their most viewed Second Life-related video. The video would recieve praise from major SL news outlets and celebrities, such as Draxtor and James Wagner Au.

Since that video, their focus would mostly be dedicated to Second Life, with videos revolving around virtual identity, exploration and other SL-related topics.

In 2018, Luca would establish the Virtual Existance Society, a organization dedicated to the promotion and advocacy of Second Life and its' residents' way of life - notably Virtual Existentialism and Embodiment, which in layman's terms, refers to the ideology that one's virtual self, is as important as their physical self. In 2019, the VES would begin full operations, with most notably, a ceremony that would award key figures within the Second Life community, such as Inara Pey, Ryan Schultz, among others with Amica status within the VES.

In 2020, Luca would continue their efforts under the VES with the Virtual Shift Project, a effort by VES and its' associated sponsors such as Onatopp's Toppmart to promote Second Life to others, with a focus on those in the younger age brackets of around 18-28.
